Skin Consultation
Upon your first visit to Botanique for any facial treatment, we will generally include a skin consultation. This ensures that your desired outcome is achieved, as well as to confirm that nothing will preclude you from having a particular procedure.
Consultation typically includes a cleanse and removal of makeup. Followed by a “before” photograph and the use of equipment to analyse if deemed necessary.
This will give you an accurate profile of your skin including: Moisture, Texture, Oiliness, Redness, Luminosity, Hyperpigmentation and Elasticity/Firmness.
Additional Information
Achieving long term results is dependent on many factors. Both internal and external factors such as environment, sleeping patterns, smoking status, sun exposure, hormones, medication, and more may vary for each individual.

Signature Facial Treatment & Peel
A true red carpet experience, this WOW facial utilises Botanique Skin Nutrition products. Our signature facial includes a deep cleanse, cosmeceutical strength AHA/BHA, vitamins A C E peel. All this is then followed by an indulgent massage using a creamy, hydrating mask.
Alternative peels and masks can also be used during this treatment for deeper results. Utilising ingredients such as natural lactic, glycolic and salicylic acids, pumpkin, pomegranate and/or mango enzymes, peptides, etc. Followed by a second therapeutic finishing mask. Nano-needling
Nano-needling stimulates collagen production in the skin by safely infusing active ingredients from serums through tiny nano-channels. This is very similar, but less invasive than microneedling and allows up to 97% product absorption. This treatment combats fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation, and other skin blemishes through the transdermal delivery system for increased effectiveness of serums.
LED Facial Treatment
Red light is used to promote collagen and elastin production. Blue LED light is intended to help reduce the appearance of mild to moderate acne.

Our Radio Frequency skin tightening treatments use monopolar radio frequency modalities to heat subcutaneous dermal tissue by using a hand piece emitting radio frequency waves. This causes contraction of the existing collagen fibres, encourages fibroblast migration and promotes new collagen growth. It is a very relaxing treatment and includes a facial cleanse, steam, scrub or other exfoliant, RF plus finishing creams.
RF skin tightening aims to restore a more youthful look by helping to reverse the signs of ageing and gravity. This is done by reducing appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. tightening of sagging skin around the jowls, neck and double chin, and improvement of skin laxity and skin tone.
Microcurrent is also available and makes use of low-voltage electrical current to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin. Microcurrent facials have been around for many years as the technology has stood the test of time. Best delivered in a series, this treatment will tighten and smooth the muscles and connective tissues in the face. This is done by increasing cellular activity and the production of ATP.
HIFU is the latest and one of the most effective treatments for sagging jowls, fine lines and overall rejuvenation.
HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy to target the layers of skin just below the surface. The ultrasound energy causes the tissue to heat up rapidly.
Once the cells in the targeted area reach a certain temperature, they experience cellular damage. While this may seem counterintuitive, the damage actually stimulates the cells to produce more collagen — a protein that provides structure to the skin.

Hydradermabrasion utilises the natural healing powers of water and oxygen to effortlessly exfoliate the skin. Skin Needling for Skin Rejuvenation and Treatment of Scars
Skin Needling or Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is an effective, natural treatment to improve your skin texture, smooth wrinkles, fine lines and soften scars. It is suitable for all skin types and all areas of the face, neck, décolletage and other parts of the body. Those who suffer from fine lines, dull skin, enlarged pores, acne scars, chicken pox scars and surgical scars (more than 6 months old) are suitable for treatment.

Generally a minimum of 3 treatments are required to achieve the optimum rejuvenation of an area. When treating scarring, at least 5-6 treatments would generally be required. The treatments are performed 5-6 weeks apart.
Most clients report a gradual improvement in their skin colour and texture over 6- 8 week period. Results continue to improve with each consecutive treatment; the use of professional salon products is highly recommended to ensure lasting results.
Skin needling is performed with a surgical grade instrument with stainless steel micro needles ranging from 0.5mm to 2mm in length. The treatment promotes the natural reproduction of collagen and elastin, making the skin feel smoother and tighter through the creation of microscopic punctures in the epidermis.

After skin needling LED will be used to continue the regeneration of collagen in the skin as well as the healing process. Your skin will appear flushed (pink to red) which may last for 12 to 24 hours on average.
To ensure the right healing environment, do not use glycolic acid, retinol, acidic skincare or highly active ingredients for 48 hours. SPF for sun protection is mandatory.
Some clients may not be suitable for treatment. An individual consultation will be performed to determine suitability.
Some clients will see results after one treatment session while most require 3 – 6 treatments or more to notice results. All treatments include neck & decolletage

IPL/Laser for Pigmentation Treatment
Pigmented lesions such as age spots or freckles can be successfully lightened or removed with IPL. These treatments are non-invasive, suitable for both the face and body and will result in a more even skin tone.
IPL releases short pulses of filtered light that are readily absorbed by the high concentration of melanin found within freckles, sun spots or liver spots. The rapid absorption of light energy heats the melanin and causes the destruction of the melanin-rich cells.

Large, dark moles should not be treated, nor should lesions covering a large part of the body. The pigmented marks that respond the best are superficial lesions such as those caused by sun damage (sun spots) and freckles.

IPL/Laser for Red Veins and Rosacea
Intense Pulsed Light can provide a long term solution to facial problems such as red flushing (Rosacea), thread veins and red spots as well as unsightly leg veins, with minimal downtime or risk in just a few quick and easy treatments. IPL emits light which is readily absorbed by blood vessels, heating them to a point where they are destroyed. Following treatment, the vessels quickly clear as they are reabsorbed by the body, leaving little or no trace of the original lesion. Most red skin lesions including facial thread veins, rosacea, spider naevi, port wine stains are treated with Intense Pulsed Light. Treatment is suitable for most people, however, best results are obtained for those with fair skin, and there is less chance of side effects. The best response is seen with facial thread veins, spider naevi and rosacea.

Our Argireline Contouring Mask is brilliant for targeting fine lines and subtle expression wrinkles (caused by repeated muscle movement).
Argireline is known as acetyl hexapeptide -3 or -8. It affects nerve-to-muscle communication so that the muscle contractions do not deepen expression wrinkles.
